Avoid fitting new brake discs and pads at the same time. New pads should always be fitted with old discs and new "green" discs with old pads. Why? Because with use, discs form a heat-hardened surface allowing them to bed in new, solf pads. Similarly used pads will also become heat-treated and are the best way of bedding in new green discs. However this assumes that all used parts are mechanically sound and in good condition. Badly worn or scored brake discs should notbe used to bed in new pads, and pads that have worn to suit the contours of scored or warped discs cannot be used to bed green discs. Unless stated specifically by the supplier, never "stand" on the brakes after fitted new pads or discs. Overheating brakes in the early stages of the bedding process will overcook. Pad and disc material and result in reduced longevity. Sometimes badly worn or damaged brakes will necessitate discs and pads being fitted at the same time. Even more effort should be put into the bedding in process. The longer the time, and more frequent the cycle of heating and cooling before the big "test",the better most pads and discs will perform. This in one case where stop-star city driving is useful !!!

ส่วนตัวผมไม่เคยเห็นที่ไหนบอกว่า เวลาbedding ผ้าเบรกหรือจานเบรกใหม่จะได้ผลดีที่สุดเวลาใช้คู่กับของเก่า
อย่างอันนี้บอกว่าให้หลีกเลี่ยงของใหม่ทั้งคู่แต่ก็ไม่ได้บอกว่าทำไม :bbbear_33:
ความเห็นส่วนตัวอีกแล้ว ผมว่าช่วงที่เปลี่ยนใหม่แรกๆรอให้ผ้าเบรกปรับหน้าสัมผัสให้ดีแค่นั้นพอครับ

ตามความเห็นผมว่ามันจะเกี่ยวกับระยะการวอมผ้าเบรก ให้ได้รับความร้อน และผิวสัมผัสของจานและผ้าเบรกก่อน เช่นผ้าใหม่จานเดิน(เก่า)หรือ ผ้าเดิมจานใหม่ หรือมันคือการเจียจานที่ทำกันครับ

อันนี้อีกเล่มครับ
ืืnew pads frequently "outgas" and many feel greasy as you "cook out" some of the remaining volatile solvent from the pad material. this is called green fade , and it's why you should always bed in a new set of brakes very well before you rely on them for high performance. racers sometime use a retired toaster oven to bake their pad before use. do this outside or in your workshop because it smells terrible and may produce some smoke. you can also find a nice long empty stretch of road and lightly ride the brake until you feel your new pads start to fade. then drive some more without using the brakes and let them cool. then repeat the process until the green fade is over.
