BB tune (Boxer Balance Tune) is an HKS project which aims to analyse the typical problems found in EJ series engines due to it's boxer layout. EJ20 engines had been widely regarded as easy to damage and so HKS tested the properties of this engine using it's in house engine dynamometer and found that reducing exhaust gas back pressure could prevent knocking and thus damage to the engine.

The BB tune includes this huge front-mount intercooler kit, fuel enrichment, boost control, and a better flowing intake and downpipe. The complete package.
